Between being a mom, school psychologist, and baker,

I created Batter & Dough as a way to chase a creative dream and share my joy of handcrafted bakes with my community.

Fun facts! I’m actually a pretty picky eater. Here are some differences that heavily influence our bakes. If you agree with some of these, you’re in the right place 🫶 And if you don’t, that’s okay too! Im sure you’d love our bakes either way 😉

There’s always a customer complaining about there being no raisins in the oatmeal cookies 😂

I usually don’t eat the frosting off most bakes… that’s why ours is buttery, made with vanilla bean paste, and always has a hint of sea salt. The balance is so good!

This is just me being picky… But there’s no way I’m taste testing coconut anything 😅

Our cinnamon roll glaze is almost half butter & cream to sugar. I love a good balance and especially adore those vanilla bean specks you’ll find throughout all of our glazes and frostings (even our decorated cakes!)

If I’m craving a mouthful of Nutella, Biscoff, jelly, cookie dough, cake batter, or whatever it be, I’m just grabbing a spoon. I don’t need it in the center of my cookie 🤷🏻‍♀️ Now give me a little bit in every bite of my cookie and I’m happy!

Dark chocolate and sea salt will always be superior. (Currently eating way too many dark chocolate almonds as I make this post)
